The Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation is creating the Legacy Endowment for Academic Excellence to provide a permanent funding source to secure the district’s and the Foundation’s ability to invest in key strategies to support student learning and moving beyond the basics. Endowment funds will provide support to currently unfunded change initiatives, including: leadership development, teacher quality, innovative school programs and systemic reform to close the achievement gap.

How do we do this? While many public and private universities and private schools have endowments, few school districts have a source of permanent funding to support innovative and effective programs that the Legacy Endowment will provide.

What can you do? As a donor to the Legacy Endowment, you will be involved with other people committed to providing a permanent source of funding to support academic success for all students.  As a donor we will keep you informed and involved efforts to support academic excellence in Saint Paul Public Schools.
