Grant Making

The Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation’s Grant Making program recognizes excellence in teacher and provides funds for unique educational opportunities for teachers and students.

Inspired Educator Grants:

The Inspired Educator Grant program enhances the quality of students’ educations by giving teachers the resources to go above and beyond for their students. Grant projects are designed to engage students in critical thinking, encourage problem-solving and inspire a joy of learning

Fund for Teachers:

As an affiliate of the Saint Paul Foundation, the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation administers the Saint Paul Fund for Teachers program, which has awarded over $500,000 in grants to more than 130 Saint Paul Public Schools teachers.

Academic Intervention Grants

The Academic Intervention Grant program is focused on funding and supporting the intentional academic intervention work of high-quality nonprofit programs that serve Saint Paul Public School students. This program is operated with funding support from the Travelers Foundation.

Grants for Schools:

The Foundation gives grants to Saint Paul Public Schools for activities that enrich, empower and inspire students, faculty and staff. As a champion for public education, the Foundation has been supporting Saint Paul Public School initatives and activities since 1995. The Foundation serves as an intermediary for community members and businesses to offer financial support to Saint Paul Public Schools.

Impact of Grants:

Since 2007 the Foundation has given $1.1 million to teachers, schools and organizations in Saint Paul.
