Kara is a 2008 graduate of Fordham University with a B.A. in international political economy and German language and literature. Kara spent the 2008-2009 academic year in Germany, undertaking a Fulbright research project on the role of immigrant and minority students in the educational reforms in Hamburg. Currently, Kara is completing her Master of Public Policy at the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota while she works as the Foundation's research associate. Kara comes to us from Westford, MA.
